Nurse Mari has retired!  We are sad to see Nurse Mari retire, but so excited for her next chapter in life.

Marianne Haughey, R.N. was an integral member our practice family since 2003.  Every single surgical patient met Nurse Mari at their preoperative visit.

She named herself “Nurse Mari” early on in her Nursing career since the children in the primary care practice called her “Doctor Mari” – she took on the Nurse Mari handle over 30 years ago.

An avid gardener, baker and Bay Area native, Mari shared personal stories about her life and lengthy career as a Registered Nurse while educating our patients about their Plastic Surgery recovery, drains, postoperative medications and restrictions (“no lifting more than 5 pounds!”).

We celebrated Mari with an intimate retirement party in February 2022.  We are honored to share pictures from the event with you.
