Before and after gynecomastia correction in a 33 year old man who had lost an incredible 250 pounds over several years. His chest showed stigmata of his former morbid obesity, namely “man boobs” (called gynecomastia).
Together with other post-weight loss body contouring procedures, his chest was addressed. He wanted to minimize scars and to be able to wear a normal shirt without a compression top underneath he was using to hide his “moobs”.
Ultrasonic liposuction removed excess fat and male breast tissue through six tiny incisions hidden in his armpit and under his breasts. Follow up photos are shown 9 months after surgery.
Due to the extent of his procedure, he still has some firm swelling called “edema”. He is thrilled with his results so far and now feels comfortable wearing a T-shirt without compression underneath.
