Before and after ultrasound-assisted liposuction of the chest in a 33-year-old man. He wanted to improve the contour of his chest in order to appreciate his muscle tone – he had been working hard at the gym, but his muscles were covered by a layer of fat on his chest. This condition is called “gynecomastia,” which refers to male breast tissue.
Ultrasound-assisted liposuction of the chest permanently removed nearly a liter of excess fat and liquified breast tissue from his chest. At the same surgery, he also had ultrasonic liposuction of his abdomen and flanks. After surgery, he wore a compression vest under his clothes for three months.
Follow-up photos are shown a year and a half after surgery. He feels more comfortable wearing fitted shirts now and is more comfortable in his skin.
