Before and after ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL) of the abdomen and flanks in a 33 year old man. He wished to have better definition of his waistline and to avoid his shirts from being so tight in the love handle region.
Approximately 3 liters of fat was removed using intraoperative ultrasound treatment to the fat together with aggressive liposuction. Follow up photos are shown at 3 months after surgery. His contour has significantly improved. However, there is still a significant amount of post-surgical edema (firm, stiff and darkly colored tissue swelling) that will take up to a year to fully resolve.
He is very happy with his initial results and he looks forward to the final outcome at a year.
