Before and after liposuction of the flanks and upper back in a 29 year old man. He had lost a significant amount of weight and had adopted a healthy lifestyle. He had remaining stigma from his past heavier weight such as stretch marks and stubborn excess fat that persisted despite his best efforts. In men, these areas of fat on the backside of the body are the most stubborn and tend to be resistant to reduction even after significant weight loss.
Ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL) of the flanks and lower back fat roll permanently removed residual fat from these areas. This was performed together with gynecomastia correction (ultrasound-assisted liposuction or UAL of the chest area). Early follow up images are shown at 2 months after surgery.
Following this method of liposuction, his fat rolls are significantly reduced. He is already thrilled. Over the next several months, his results will continue to be appreciated.
