Before and after MACS lift (neck lift, lower facelift) in a 69 year old man. He disliked the obtuse angled contour of his neck and wanted an improved appearance to his neck. However, he felt strongly that he still wanted to look like himself (and for his grandchildren to NOT notice or comment).
A MACS lift resuspended the deep tissues of the face including the jowls and sagging lower facial muscles and connective tissue and removed fat from under his neck. He was not pulled too tight nor in an abnormal vector (direction of pull).
Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. His neck looks normal and natural. He still has some skin laxity, which is normal when you are turning 70! He feels very happy about his decision to have cosmetic surgery as a man who was turning seventy years old.
