Before and after liposuction of the neck in a 32-year-old woman. She was planning a breast procedure and at the same time, wanted to improve the contour of her neck. She was thrilled that liposuction could be added on and not make her recovery exponentially harder.
Through a tiny incision hidden under her chin, fat was permanently removed using a smooth, blunt-ended tube called a “cannula”. The incision was closed with a dissolving stitch, and she wore a compressive chin strap for several weeks afterward.
Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery, with a more contoured jawline, a natural looking result, and permanent fat reduction in this area!
