Before and after liposuction of the neck in a 21-year-old woman. She disliked her “baby fat” and wanted to have a more defined jawline without major surgery.
Liposuction permanently removed fat from under her chin, in the submental area, through two tiny incisions. After surgery, she wore a compressive chin strap for two weeks to limit swelling and help bruising resolve more quickly.
Follow up photos are shown 5 months after surgery. This patient achieved her goal of “subtle but significant” results – which is what Plastic Surgery is all about!
