Liposuction of the neck can be done in the office under local anesthesia. Numbing medication is injected into the fat that is to be removed through one, two or three tiny incisions hidden to the best of our ability under the jawline. We also offer an oral anti-anxiety medication and an inhaled mixture of laughing gas and oxygen that is patient self-administered.
Over a cup of fat was removed through liposuction! Follow up photos are shown 4 years after surgery. She has maintained a healthier weight and maintained her results. Once fat cells are removed by liposuction, they are gone permanently.
