Before and after liposuction of the neck in a 42 year old woman. She disliked the fat accumulation she noticed under her chin and jawline since she turned forty. She had tried nonsurgical methods of fat reduction which had not made a difference. She wanted to look like herself, just with less fat there!
Liposuction of the neck was performed in the office under local anesthesia. Postoperatively, she worked from home for a week and wore a compressive chin strap when at home and while sleeping for two weeks.
Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. Firm swelling called edema continues to resorb gradually.
