Before and after liposuction of the neck in a 23-year-old woman. She had always been self-conscious about the fullness under her chin due to excess fat. She felt like this area made her look younger and less refined and sculpted than she wanted to.
Liposuction removed 75 cc of fat (two and a half ounces in total) from under the chin during a simple outpatient procedure performed under local anesthesia. After surgery, she took a week off work and three weeks off exercise, resuming full activities when the bruising completely resolved.
Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery.
