Before and after liposuction of the neck in a 52 year old woman. She previously had undergone a neck lift elsewhere, but liposuction was not performed as part of the procedure. She disliked the residual fat collection under her chin and some excess skin that remained hanging in this area.
Liposuction of the neck was performed as an in-office procedure under local anesthesia. Excess skin was directly excised from under her chin as a direct neck lift. Early follow up photos are shown two months after surgery.
She has some residual firm swelling that will continue to go away over the next few months. Her neck contour is already greatly improved. She is actively doing scar therapy and she understands that her neck scar will be hidden under her chin and take a year to fully mature.
