Before and after liposuction of the neck in a 32 year old woman. She was of normal weight and fit, but hated the excess fat under her chin she had been struggling with since puberty. She could not lose this fat no matter how fit or thin she was.
Liposuction of the neck was performed in the office under local anesthesia, avoiding the need for a trip to the operating room and general anesthetic. Approximately 6 tablespoons of fat were permanently removed from under her chin and in her neck through two tiny incisions hidden under her jawline.
Follow up photos are shown 7 months after surgery. She no longer immediately looks at her neck in photographs, and she loves her results! Her neck is now a non-issue. She states she never would have worn an off-the-shoulder neckline previously!
