Before and after liposuction of the neck in a 40 year old woman. She disliked the fat that accumulated in this area since her 20’s. She was fit and healthy, but she felt her neck did not reflect that!
Liposuction of the neck was performed in the office under local anesthesia and using tumescent “wetting solution”. Postoperatively, she took oral pain medication for a few days and wore her chin strap for a week consistently, and at night until three weeks after surgery.
Follow up photos are shown at two months after surgery. She has a greatly improved contour of her neck and is excited that the results will continue to improve over the next several months as residual edema continues to resolve.
