Before and after earlobe repair and repiercing in a 70-year-old woman. Her earlobe had been torn when a dog jumped up and grabbed her dangly earring several years ago. She wanted to wear earrings to an upcoming party and was thrilled that earlobe repair was so straightforward – and that her ear could be repierced at the same time!
A lobule repair was performed under local anesthesia, and her earlobe was repierced at the same procedure. Follow up photos are shown three months after surgery. She continued to wear these small hoops going forward, as they were easy to manage!
