Before and after right earlobe repair and repiercing in a 39-year-old woman with a completely split earlobe. It had ripped when her friend’s dog jumped up and her hoop got caught in his paw.
A lobule repair and repiercing was performed under local anesthesia in the office. The plan for repair and repiercing just beside the old site is shown in the second set of images.
Follow up photos are shown 1 month after surgery. We recommend patients keep their new piercings in place for up to three months after repair before exchanging them for other earrings.
