Before and after earlobe repair in a 24 year old man with a history of gauges in his ears in the past. Although the gauges had been out for years, the stretched out hole was embarrassing to him as he was interviewing for “real jobs”.
A bilateral lobule repair was performed in the office under local anesthesia. After surgery, scar massage and application of a topical scar gel from our office began at six weeks after surgery.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. He is considering repiercing his earlobes, which we are happy to do to complete his procedure.
