Before and after right earlobe repair and repiercing in a 29-year-old woman. She had developed a keloid previously from an infected ear piercing and had it surgically excised in her home state, leaving her earlobe looking abnormal with a cleft.
She was planning her wedding and wanted to wear her hair up, with a more normal looking earlobe. A two-stage procedure was planned, with earlobe repair performed first and repiercing four months later. Both procedures were performed under local anesthesia in our office.
Follow up photos are shown 8 months after surgery and 4 months after earlobe repiercing. She loves her cute little earlobe and is ready to rock more dangling earrings at her wedding!
