Before and after bilateral upper lid blepharoplasty in a 57 year old woman. As part of her Mommy Makeover, she wanted a refreshed look to her eyes.
She had heavy upper lids that made her look angry and tired, which she certainly was not! Her preoperative “stare” had developed to help open her eyes since her lids were so droopy.
An upper lid blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) trimmed excess upper lid skin but did not remove any muscle or fat, to avoid an aged or hollowed-out look to the eyes.
Follow up photos are shown 4 months after surgery. She didn’t tell anyone about the eyelid lift procedure, but is enjoying everyone telling her how fabulous she looks!
Plastic Surgery results do not (and should not in our opinion) look obvious to others. Instead, cosmetic procedures should help you look like YOUR best self, and to shine with your individual beauty!
