Before and after liposuction of the mons pubis in a 31-year-old woman. She was extremely self-conscious about her prominent pubic region, and she sought out baggy pants and dresses to conceal it.
Liposuction was performed awake, under local anesthesia, inhaled laughing gas and an oral anti-anxiety medication. A total of 450 cc of fat was removed! (nearly two cups in kitchen measurements).
After surgery, she wore compression over this area for six weeks to encourage her body to absorb the surgical swelling as fast as possible. Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery.
