Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and circumferential flanks in a 27-year-old woman. She was on a weight loss journey and wanted to remove some of the stubborn fat she had even when she was younger and thinner.
Under general anesthesia, over four liters of fat was permanently removed through several tiny incisions. After surgery, she wore compression under her clothes for three months, transitioning from her surgical abdominal binder to shapewear. She began scar therapy at six weeks postop, once all her scabs were gone.
Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery. She was so motivated by her results that she lost an additional twenty pounds through cleaning eating and regular exercise, which only accentuated her outcome!
