Before and after abdominoplasty and liposuction of the abdomen in a 36-year-old woman. Following her twin pregnancy, her abdominal area ballooned into a mass of stretch marks and redundant skin.
A tummy tuck removed excess lower abdominal skin, including many of her stretch marks. Her abdominal muscles were repaired back together in the midline. Her belly button was inset through a new skin opening. Liposuction removed excess fat from her central abdominal region and pubic area.
Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery. Her scars have faded nicely – and she loves that her belly is her best feature again!
