Before and after liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 30-year-old woman. She felt extremely self-conscious about her “armpit boobs,” resulting from prominent axillary tails of breast tissue. She had tried everything she could think of to treat them – from strict dieting, targeted chest exercises and even injectable treatments.

She consulted with a breast surgeon who recommended a long incision that made her feel uncomfortable proceeding. What she really needed was ultrasound-assisted liposuction of her axillary breast tissue, which was so firm and fibrous that nothing else could adequately remove it in a minimally invasive fashion.

Ultrasonic liposuction broke up the firm, stiff breast tissue through its internal energy – tissue was suctioned out at the same time, for permanent removal of this annoying tissue through two tiny incisions. After surgery, she wore compression over her armpits and a bandeau strap for several months to encourage the swelling to resorb more quickly and for her skin to smooth out evenly.

Follow up photos are shown a year and a half after surgery. She is wearing spaghetti strap tops without giving her armpits a second thought now!
