Before and after labiaplasty in a 31-year-old woman. She felt discomfort every time she ran, rode her spin bike or had sex.
A labiaplasty trimmed excess labia minora tissue but left a normal amount of labia tissue behind.
This patient needed to fly home immediately after surgery due to a family emergency; we normally recommend out-of-town patients stay for at least a week after surgery to rest and relax, avoiding complications related to excessive physical activity after a labiaplasty.
An on-the-table photo is shown immediately after surgery, with dissolving sutures in place and minimal swelling.
