Before and after bilateral nipple and areola reconstruction in a 59-year-old two-time breast cancer survivor. Following bilateral mastectomies and DIEP flap reconstructions, she was ready for her final reconstruction stage.
The local flap technique was used to create two new nipple prominences. Medical tattoo created two areaolar circles. Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. nipple and areolar reconstruction truly is the “icing on the cake” after breast reconstruction!
