Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift using the auto-augmentation technique with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 38 year old woman.
After having children and breastfeeding, her breasts had lost all their volume and shape. She actually liked being somewhat smaller breasted, but did not appreciate the “empty sock sag” she described when talking about her breasts.
A small amount of breast tissue and fat was removed from the lower pole of each breast. Her remaining breast tissue was moved up higher into a subglandular pocket using the auto-augmentation mastopexy technique. The last image shows an intraoperative view after one breast has been treated.
Liposuction removed excess fat from her armpits and bra rolls, in addition to other areas of her body that she elected to also treat at the same time.
Follow up photos are shown 6 weeks after surgery. She is starting scar therapy and loves her reshaped breasts!
