Before and after bilateral earlobe repair and repiercing in a 69-year-old woman. Her ear piercings had stretched so much that one of them completely split. She wanted very much to wear her earrings again now that she was retired and enjoying life!

A lobule repair and repiercing was performed as a combined procedure under local anesthesia. After surgery, she wore small gold hoops for two months before changing her earrings to lightweight dangling earrings.

Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. She knows to limit the weight of her earrings, as wearing pendulous, heavy earrings could cause her piercings to stretch out again.
