Before and after bilateral upper lid blepharoplasty in a 57-year-old woman. At the same time as a breast procedure, she wanted to improve the appearance of her upper eyelids. She was a candidate for an upper lid blepharoplasty (eyelid lift).

The “pinch blepharoplasty” (removal of skin only – specifically what can be pinched so that there is a normal amount of skin left behind) was performed under general anesthesia. If she were not also having breast revision surgery, the blepharoplasty could have been offered under local anesthesia in the office.

After surgery, she took a full month off exercise and walked around looking like a movie star with her large dark sunglasses! Follow up photos are shown 2 months after surgery. Her incisions were fading, and she can appreciate her results even at this early stage.
