Before and after liposuction of the arms in a 39-year-old woman. As part of her Mommy Makeover which also included a tummy tuck and liposuction elsewhere, she wanted to improve the contour of her upper arms.
While she was a candidate for brachioplasty surgery along with liposuction of the arms, she did not want to long inner arm scar that would be required to remove excess skin from her upper arms.
Liposuction was performed under general anesthesia together with her other procedures. After surgery, she wore compression sleeves under her clothes for three months, choosing to wear long, flowy-sleeved tops to conceal her garment.
Follow up photos are shown 1 year after surgery. Her arm skin has contracted to its final form. She still has some mildly loose upper arm skin, but she is very satisfied with her liposuction results.
