Before and after liposuction of the neck in a 33-year-old woman. She had tried several non-surgical options to decrease the fat collection under her chin, but to no avail. She still had “baby fat” here and wanted it gone!
Liposuction of the neck was done under local anesthesia as an outpatient office surgery under laughing gas and an oral anti-anxiety medication. Although only three ounces (90 cc) of fat were suctioned out, removing this volume of fat under the chin can have significant result!
Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. The results are subtle, but significant – especially to our patient.
