Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 51-year-old woman. She had pain daily due to the large size and extreme weight of her breasts. She also had axillary breast tissue that made wearing tank tops embarrassing since her “boobs were falling out of her armpits.”
A breast reduction removed over two pounds of breast tissue per side, and liposuction removed a liter of fat from each bra roll/armpit area. Since she had thick, fibrous breast tissue in the armpit region, ultrasound-assisted liposuction (UAL) was required for this area.
Follow up photos are shown 8 months after surgery. She loves shopping for tops now – especially sleeveless ones for the summer!
