Before and after bilateral saline breast implant deflation followed by deflated shell explantation in a 62-year-old woman. Her breast implants had been in place for nearly forty years. She wanted to have a more natural look and relief of tightness on her left side due to capsular contracture.
A little nervous about how things would look without the implants, she elected to have deflation of the saline first. Seeing how normal and natural her breasts looked, she scheduled shell removal under local anesthesia two months later.
Follow up photos are shown 4 months after her procedure. She is very pleased with her outcome!
