Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift in a 35-year-old woman. She had natural asymmetry and droop to her breasts and wanted a major reduction and lift.

An intraoperative photo was taken after one breast was reduced and rearranged, immediately before the nipple was brought out in its new location and dissolving sutures were placed in the skin (the nipple and areola are hidden beneath skin flaps that are tailor-tacked together).

Note that before the reduction and lift, a majority of the breast lies below the inframammary fold. After, the vast majority of tissue sits above the fold, thanks to the auto-augmentation technique used to lift the breast. This is what makes the superomedial pedicle technique so aesthetically pleasing.

Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. Her incisions are dark pink, as expected for this stage of healing. She is ready to begin scar therapy and has had a much easier time playing tennis and golf already!
