Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 32-year-old woman. She was slender and fit and had tried non-surgical methods of fat reduction without a significant benefit.
Liposuction permanently removed over two liters of fat from her belly and flanks circumferentially. We can always remove more fat than you would imagine! The fat removed during her surgery is shown in the last image set.
After surgery, she wore a compression garment under her clothes for six weeks to limit swelling and encourage her skin to contract to its new form. Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. Her scars are barely perceptible, and she still looks slender, just slightly more contoured.
