Before and after Mommy Makeover in a 34-year-old mother of two sets of twins She was quite thin, with stretched-out and hanging lower abdominal skin and empty, deflated breasts. Her goal was to restore the breast fullness she had before having children (not while breastfeeding, although that was nice too, but “a little too much”) and to have a natural looking lift of her nipples.

Her procedure included a breast augmentation and mastopexy, abdominoplasty and liposuction of the axillary rolls and abdomen. Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. Her muscles were repaired back together in the midline, and excess lower abdominal skin was trimmed.

After surgery, she hired extra help to help with her four children under the age of five. She gradually resumed normal activities and resumed remote work one month after surgery.

Follow up photos are shown 3 months after surgery. The nipple and areola contractile tissue goes to sleep after surgery – hence, the smooth and enlarged areolar circle that will gradually wake up and contract normally, resulting in a smaller areola diameter and erect nipples in response to cold or touch. Her scars are starting to fade, and she has resumed light exercising, “listening to her body” regarding which exercise feels okay – and which does not yet.
