Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift in a 48-year-old woman. Her breasts had caused deep, painful shoulder grooves and she needed to wear two or three supportive sports bras at work just to get through the day!
A breast reduction removed two pounds of tissue from each breast. Liposuction removed a liter of excess fat from her bra rolls and armpits. Her breasts were reshaped and lifted to be perkier, rounder and significantly smaller.
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. Over the next year, her scars will fade and flatten. Final scar maturation is complete by one year for some patients, but for darker skinned patients can take several years.
