Before and after bilateral mastopexy and augmentation for tubular breast and congenital breast asymmetry correction in a 33-year-old woman. Her breasts had always been different from one another, but after having children and breastfeeding, they differed even more drastically.
Her goals included symmetry of the breasts, increased volume and upper pole fullness and a nice round shape. Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed through an incision in the fold under her breasts, in the subglandular position (on top of the muscle).
A breast lift reduced her areola diameter, lifted her nipples, and tucked excess skin in the lower pole of her breasts. Liposuction removed unwanted fat from her armpits and bra rolls – known as the axillary rolls.
Follow up photos are shown 7 months after surgery, with normal maturing pink scars and greatly improved symmetry.
