Before and after liposuction of the body in a 42-year-old mother of four! She was fit and had good abdominal muscle tone, so she did not need a full abdominoplasty with rectus diastasis repair. She was looking to have fat removal from her mid-section all the way around – liposuction was a great option for her.
Five liters of fat was removed in an outpatient procedure performed under general anesthesia. After surgery, she wore compression under her clothes for three months. She started scar therapy at 6 weeks postop, which consisted of massaging her incisions and applying a topical scar gel twice a day for 6 months in total.
Long-term follow up photos are shown over a year after surgery with mature, barely imperceptible scars and her final results.
