Before and after bilateral breast reduction and liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 61-year-old woman. She had hanging, pendulous breasts that were causing pain in her shoulders, neck and upper back. She had developed deep shoulder grooves and was delighted to learn that a breast reduction would help (if not alleviate) her symptoms!
Over two pounds of breast tissue, skin and fat were removed from each breast. The remaining breast tissue was reshaped and lifted, and liposuction removed over a liter of excess fat from her bra rolls and armpits.
Follow up photos are shown 2 months after surgery. She is starting scar therapy and already loves her results, even with bright pink (normal) scars for this stage of healing.
