Before and after bilateral augmentation and mastopexy in a 47-year-old mother of four. She breastfed each of her children for at least two years and lost all her breast volume.
After her children were all attending school full time, she felt ready to do something for herself. She was tired of wearing heavily padded bras to create the look she used to have – and that she wanted to achieve with surgery.
Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. A breast lift raised the height of her nipples and areolas and tucked excess skin from the lower pole of her breasts. Together with her mastopexy-augmentation, she also had a tummy tuck and liposuction to complete her Mommy Makeover.
Follow up photos are shown a year after surgery. Her scars are still pink but are fading as the blood vessels sent to heal the tissue are still dilated. Her breasts have settled to their natural position and shape. She feels like her “old self” – we think she looks even better!
