Before and after abdominoplasty and liposuction of the abdomen, pubis, inner and outer thighs in a 39-year-old woman. After having four children (including twins), she developed stretch marks and her belly stayed stretched out, causing strangers to congratulate her on her pregnancy (despite not being pregnant)!
A tummy tuck removed excess lower abdominal skin and fat, including many of her stretch marks. Her abdominal muscles were repaired back to one another in the midline. Her abdominal skin was pulled downward, and her belly button was inset through a new skin opening.
Liposuction removed excess fat from her upper inner and outer thighs (the saddlebags), her upper and lower abdomen and pubic region. She took a full month off work and resumed exercise at six weeks.
Long term follow up photos are shown 7 years after surgery. She brought her daughter in for a consultation, and we were elated to be able to see her long-term results. We love seeing our patients years after their procedure!
