Before and after bilateral breast revision in a 41-year-old woman with completely submuscular saline implants. She wanted to have fuller breasts, a breast lift, nicer cleavage and to get rid of her animation deformity.
The old implants were removed, and her pectoralis major muscles were returned to the chest wall and reattached to the ribs and the sternum. A new space was created on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. A larger and more projecting smooth round silicone gel breast implant was inserted.
A lollipop incision allowed for her nipples and areolas to be lifted to a higher position on the breast to achieve a perkier look. Liposuction removed excess unwanted fat from her armpits and bra rolls.
Follow up photos are shown one month after surgery. She has started to apply scar gel and massage her scars, and already loves her new breasts! They will relax a little with time and look even more natural over the next two months.
