Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift with liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 49-year-old woman. She had short stature and felt completely out of proportion. She stated her breasts “made themselves her identity” and had to wear several sports bras when she exercised. She wanted her breasts to remain proportional to her curves.
A breast reduction removed much of her excess breast tissue and fat from the bottoms and the sides of her breasts. The remaining tissue was reshaped to be more round and was lifted to sit higher up on her chest. Liposuction debulked fat from her armpits and bra roll regions.
Follow up photos are shown 2 years after surgery. She has pale and flat mature breast scars and her final surgical outcome. She is doing Zumba and jogging now with comfort! (and only one sports bra).
