Before and after bilateral breast reduction and lift in a 41-year-old woman. Her breasts were heavy, pendulous and out of proportion to the rest of her body. As part of her Mommy Makeover, she wanted her breasts to be a little smaller and to be perkier but to remain proportional to the rest of her body.
A breast reduction removed over 700 grams (nearly a pound and a half) from each breast. The remaining breast tissue was rearranged using the “auto-augmentation” technique to create a shapely, round breast that sat up higher on her chest.
Follow up photos are shown 6 weeks after surgery. She still has a few scabs, but she is ready to start scar therapy on most of her scars. Even though she is so fresh from surgery, she already loves her new breasts!
