Before and after lower facelift/neck lift in a 69-year-old woman. This MACS lift was considered “tertiary” as she had two previous facelifts over the last 25 years.

What bothered her most were her jowls and her neckline. She had a normal appearance to her midface, eye region and forehead, so the “minimal access cranial suspension” procedure to lift her lower face and neck was an ideal solution for her.

Interestingly, the complication rate for secondary or tertiary facelifts is less than a primary facelift, since the tissues have been previously elevated (strengthening their blood supply) and necessary scars are already present.

Follow up photos are shown three months after surgery. Her results are natural looking and she is very pleased!
