Before and after breast revision in a 50 year old woman. As part of her Mommy Makeover, she wanted to subtly downsize and lift her breasts at the same time as she was planning liposuction in other parts of her body.
A capsulectomy removed scar tissue in her breasts and created an implant pocket up higher on the chest. Her large saline breast implants were exchanged for smaller (by 200 cc) smooth round silicone gel. Her nipples were lifted to a higher position and the bottom skin of her breasts was “tucked” to sit more snugly around her implants, creating a new lollipop scar that is required for mastopexy surgery.
Liposuction removed several liters of fat through tiny incisions hidden in skin creases and where her swimsuit lay. After surgery, she took a month off her daily workouts and resumed normal exercising and weight lifting at 6 weeks.
Follow up photos are shown 2 months after surgery. She has started scar therapy and already is appreciating her new breasts!
