Before and after breast reduction and liposuction of the axillary rolls in a 34 year old woman. Her breasts were “just too much” – too heavy, too big, too painful. She had not had children yet but did not want to wait several more years for surgery. She was relieved to learn that we do everything possible to preserve future breastfeeding ability with breast reduction surgery – as for all Plastic Surgery procedures of the breast.
A breast reduction removed some breast tissue but left a proportional amount of tissue behind. The remainder of her breast was reshaped and lifted. Liposuction removed fat from her armpits and bra rolls, known as the axillary rolls.
Follow up photos are shown 3 years after surgery. She has started scar therapy and already loves her “brand new breasts”. Her nerves are starting to wake up and she is excited to buy new “bralettes”!
