Before and after breast augmentation in a 32 year old woman. After having a child, she noticed that her breasts had lost their former volume. She wanted to look natural and not have anyone necessarily notice that she had her “boobs done”.
Smooth round silicone gel breast implants were placed on top of the muscle, in the subglandular position. After surgery, she took a week off work and three months off exercise. Follow up photos are shown a month after surgery.
Since her implants were not under the muscle (and she had drains in for 3 days), she had very little swelling and no fluid accumulation around her implants. NO need for her implants to “drop and fluff”, like is described for submuscular implants. She expressed “I look fantastic!” – And we wholeheartedly agree.
