Before and after liposuction of the abdomen and flanks in a 23 year old woman. She had always carried extra fat around her abdomen and flanks, and despite getting fit and eating clean, she still had excess fat in this area of her body.
Liposuction permanently removed several liters of excess fat in an outpatient surgery performed under general anesthesia by way of several tiny incisions hidden in skin creases. Postoperatively, she wore a compressive binder and EPI-foam to help smooth out her swelling for six weeks. The actual fat removed is shown in the last slide – which is so impressive and rewarding to everyone!
Follow up photos are shown 6 months after surgery. Her scars are fading nicely and she loves her figure! She feels like her belly now reflects the hard work she puts in to stay physically in good shape.
