49-year-old BRCA gene-positive woman who also has significant scoliosis (lateral curvature of the spine with ribs being more prominent on the right versus the left chest wall). On the anniversary of her sister passing from breast cancer, she chose to have bilateral prophylactic nipple-sparing mastectomies to reduce her personal risk of breast cancer. Immediate single-stage breast implant reconstructions were performed, taking special care to achieve symmetry by working with her spine misalignment. Follow up photos at 10 months after surgery are shown.
